A Case of Primary Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Breast

Among the special histologic types of infiltrating duct carcinoma of the breast, primary squamous cell carcinoma is rare. It must be carefully seperated from lesions involving the epidermis and/or nipple region which must be considered as
squamous
carcinoma of the skin or dermal appendages. Also, it must be regarded as a separate. entity distinct from adenocarcinoma of the breast with squamous cell metaplasia. We experienced a case of the primary squamous cell carcinoma at the 53-year-old
female
breast. Reported the case and reviewed the related literature briefly.
